Government’s Role: How good is the candidate in being a careful steward of the citizen’s resources, liberty, and has giving them priority over all the special interests that corrupt government. This evaluation matrix has a designed biased toward promoting candidates that openly talk about the current problems with big-government–and have a track record of doing something about the problem. This approach is largely influenced by the historically proven fact that the bigger government gets, the more arrogant it becomes with citizens and irresponsible and capricious with its tax dollars.
To score high on this factor, the candidate should have a direct track record of lower taxes, smaller government, encourage business growth, fiscal responsibility and accountability. Or have demonstrated attitudes in their history.
Depending on the political position, other factors could affect this score such as sanctity of human life, safeguard religious liberties, promoting free enterprise, right to keep and bear arms, ensuring equal treatment for all people, freedom of speech and of the press, protection of national symbols, and similar.
