How to Fix this Mess

ClarkCounty.info spends much time and effort on reporting corruption and incompetence with local government. This is naturally quite negative, but it’s real. Earnest citizens should step up to stop this cancer on our community, so we press on.

Citizens reasonably become exhausted in fighting the corruption and incompetence pervasive at all levels of government. It seems endless. Further, all levels of government have nearly unlimited resources to protect itself, and have options to punish most citizens who dare to object to the corrupt mess.  The worst of the worst is at the federal level.

Notwithstanding our emphasis on promoting wise and ethical local government, we’ve become aware of a local citizen who’s established an interestingly simple path to reversing and containing apparently egregious lawlessness by federal politicians and bureaucrats in the last 150 years. His name is Matt Erickson and he is the founder of The Foundation For Liberty and Patriot Corps.

Mr. Erickson has diligently studied the US Constitution, as amended, and various key legal cases to make his case for how to reverse the serious problem of the federal government ignoring the vast bulk of the US Constitution. This plan is laid out in his paperback book called, ‘The Patriot Quest: To Restore our American Republic. He has Patriot Questother books available on related topics.

ClarkCounty.info thinks this is a relevant and useful topic for our local readers. Despite progress we may make in clearing out bad local politicians and senior bureaucrats, the corrupt and arrogant federal government will continue to be a negative force to nearly all citizens and could seriously dilute our local progress. The other reason is that Mr. Erickson’s ideas to rein in the federal government can give us hope and vision that our work to control the local problem is not insurmountable. A third reason is that he’s a Clark County resident. For these reasons, we hope you follow the link to Matt’s website and download some of his books that he makes available at no charge.
